"Mit ganzem Herzen bin ich bei Ihrem Vorschlag, ein Haus der ostdeutschen Heimat in Berlin zu errichten. Leider ist Ihre Anregung erst verhältnismässig spät in meine Hände gekommen, aber ich hoffe, meine Zustimmung, die ich hiermit gebe, kommt trotzdem nicht zu spät.
