Printed `Nobel lectures in physics 1973` signed, 8,25 x 11,25 inch, entitled `Long journey into tunneling` by Leo Esaki, reprint from `Reviews of Modern Physics` - Vol. 46 (No. 2, April1974), signed on the front cover in blue ballpoint ink "Leo Esaki", with very mild signs of wear - in nearly very fine condition.

(1925-) Japanese physicist who shared the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1973 with Ivar Giaever and Brian David Josephson for his work in electron tunneling in semiconductor materials which finally led to his invention of the Esaki diode, which exploited that phenomenon.
