Letter signed, one page, 8 x 11 inch, Paris, 7.11.1794, in French, as a member of the welfare committee of the "Comité Surveillance du département de la Seine inérieure à rouen" with the recommendation of a chemist's article on the means of collecting a large amount of saltpetre in France, signed by Lazare Carnot in black ink "Carnot" - additionally signed by Claude-Antoine Prieur, attractively mounted (removable) for fine display with a portrait picture of Lazare Carnot (altogether 16,5 x 11,75 inch), with browning along the upper edge, and three small holes to the lower left corner - in fine condition.
