Autograph letter signed, one page, 4 x 5,75 inch, Amiens, 2.06.1904, in French, reply letter to a lady (according to a previous owner Smaragda Berg, Alban Berg's sister) - Verne thanks his correspondent for expressions of sympathy, written and signed in dark ink "Jules Verne", attractively mounted (removable) for fine display with a photograph, shows Jules Verne in a chest-up portrait (altogether 11,75 x 8,25 inch), with browning along the lower edge, and a horizontal letter fold with a small tear (0,6 inch) to the left edge - in fine condition.
