Letter signed, one page (affixed on slightly larger cardboard), 7,25 x 9 inch, Berlin, 22.05.1788, in old German, to the Electoral March Chamber - concerning a granted establishment, signed by Frederick William II of Prussia in black ink "FrWilh.", attractively mounted (removable) for fine display with a picture, shows Frederick William II of Prussia in a 2/3 length portrait in uniform (altogether 16,5 x 11,75 inch), with foxing and slightly trimmed edges - in fine to good condition.

"To the Electoral March Chamber.
Whether the former wet nurse of Prince Louis, the wife of the tenant Vogt, in Plauen on the Havel, can be granted an establishment of the kind requested, in the colony near Neuwerben, from the plant?
