Gustave Flaubert Autograph

Autograph letter signed, one page, 5,25 x 7,75 inch, `Wednesday March 21` [1877], in French, to an unnamed correspondent - concerning a promised tale, written and signed in black ink "Gve. Flaubert", attractively mounted (removable) for display with a beautiful portrait picture of Gustave Flaubert (altogether 11,75 x 8,25 inch), with intersecting letter folds and very mild signs of wear - in fine to very fine condition.

J’attends toujours votre réponse relativement à un conte que je vous ai promis l’année dernière.
   N’ayant de vous aucune lettre, malgré celle que je vous ai adressée il y a une huitaine de jours, et bien que je me sois présenté […] avant hier, je ne sais plus ce que je dois faire ?
   Suis-je maintenant libéré de ma parole ? Je vous prie de me répondre immédiatement - sinon je me regarderai comme étant en droit de mettre ma copie où bon il me semble.
Agrée mes salutations tres humbles
   Gve Flaubert."

Translated:
"Sir
I am still awaiting your response to a tale I promised you last year. Not having received any letter from you, despite the one I sent to you a week ago, and although I presented myself [...] before yesterday, I no longer know what I should do? Am I now freed from my word? Please answer me immediately - otherwise I will consider myself entitled to put my copy wherever I see fit. Accept my very humble greetings Gve Flaubert."
