Typed letter signed, one page, 5.75 x 8.25 inches, on House of Commons letterhead, London, 14 February 1979. Reply to Miss Judith Golding concerning an autograph request, signed and inscribed in blue ink “Dear Judith – Yours sincerely – Margaret Thatcher”. With a bend along the right edge; in nearly very fine condition.
Accompanied by the original envelope and the signed vintage glossy photograph mentioned in the letter, showing Margaret Thatcher in a chest-up pose, 5 x 7 inches, signed in blue felt tip “Margaret Thatcher”, in very fine condition.
“Thank you for your very well written letter of the 7th February, which only reached me this morning. I am delighted to send you this photograph, which I have signed, for your collection. With best wishes.”
