Typed letter signed, one page, 8,25 x 11,5 inch, `Eel Pie Recording` letterhead, 20.06.1984, reply letter to Tommy Orr - concerning comments "on the works of other musicians", signed in brown ink "Pete Townshend", attractively mounted (removable) for display with a photograph, shows Pete Townshend on stage (altogether 16,5 x 11,75 inch), with two horizontal letter folds - in fine to very fine condition. Accompanied by an additional Tracks LTD. COA.
"I think there is some confusion about what I said on the Gloria Hunniford Show a few weeks ago. I'm afraid I don't listen to tapes (even those of friends). I feel it is unfair to comment on the works of other musicians. What I did say was that I welcome manuscripts and poetry from young writers seeking publication of their work. (I am an Editor at Faber & Faber).
