Autograph letter signed, one page, 5,25 x 6,5 inch, Paris, 8.05.1891, `Chambre des Députés - Cabinet du Président` stationery, in French, to "Cher Monsieur" - concerning an invitation, written and signed in dark ink "P. Doumer", attractively mounted (removable) for fine display with a photograph, shows Paul Doumer in a formal chest-up portrait (altogether 8,25 x 11,75 inch), with intersecting letter folds, and browning - in fine to very fine condition.
In parts:
"Cher Monsieur,
En acceptant votre bonne invitation pour aujourd`hui, je n`avais pas songé qu`il y aurait exceptionnellement séance en le chambre. [...]"
Translated:
"Dear Sir,
In accepting your kind invitation for today, I had not considered that there would be an exceptional session in the Chamber. [...]"
