"The “Hybronia” association donates 1 tree in the Herzl Forest* in the names of M Habermann and his wife."

* The creation of the Herzl Forest was a fundraising campaign (Jewish National Fund) initiated by Prof. Otto Warburg. This tree donation was initiated in 1904, the year Theodor Herzl died. It is intended to be a monument to Theodor Herzl and his idea of a Jewish state, in which anyone can participate with a tree for which a certificate has been drawn up for six marks (the certificate will then be handed over to Tu Bischvat). Trees in particular are important in this region for maintaining a healthy water balance. The planting of the Herzl Forest began in 1908 in Ben Schemen and Hulda.
