Autograph note (unsigned), one page, 7,25 x 3 inch, (May 1796), in French, concerning the Italian Campaign of the young Napoleon Bonaparte, written by Lazare Carnot in black ink - also inscribed by the collector in pencil (`Carnot`), attractively mounted (removable) for fine display with a portrait picture of Lazare Carnot (altogether 8,25 x 11,75 inch), with browning, and mild signs of age wear - in fine condition.
