Signed album page, 4,25 x 5,25 inch, 12. & 14.05.1937, Moscow & Stockholm, signed and dated by Alexandra Kollontai in blue ink "A. Kollontay 12/V 34 - Moscow" & by Ulf von Euler in dark ink "U.v. Euler - Stockh. 12 V 34" & an unidentified person, attractively mounted (removable) for display with a photograph, shows Alexandra Kollontai in a chest-up portrait (altogether 8,25 x 11,75 inch), with very mild signs of wear - in nearly very fine condition. Comes from the collection of the Romanian-born German-American author and journalist Anita Daniel (1892-1978).

Profession:
(1872-1952, Kollontai) Russian Communist revolutionary, first as a member of the Mensheviks, then from 1914 on as a Bolshevik. In 1923, Kollontai was appointed Soviet Ambassador to Norway, one of the first women to hold such a post (Diana Abgar was earlier) & (1905-1983, v. Euler) Swedish physiologist and pharmacologist - he shared the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1970 for his work on neurotransmitters.
