Autograph letter signed, one page - on black-bordered mourning stationery, 4,5 x 7 inch, Prince Carl Palace in Munich (`Pavillon Royal`), 1.04.1838, in German, to his brother King Ludwig I of Bavaria (1786-1868) - Prince Karl Theodor of Bavaria declines his participation in events because of a bereavement*, written and signed in black ink "Carl", with a central horizontal letter fold, and scattered very mild signs of wear - in fine to very fine condition.
