Letter signed, one page, 8,25 x 11,75 inch, `Capitania General de la Siempre Fiel Isla de Cuba` letterhead, Havana, 30.03.1842, in Spanish, untranslated, signed by Jerónimo Valdés in black ink - additionally an adjoining sheet with an autograph note signed by an unidentified hand (20.04.1842), with intersecting letter folds, ink corrosion, small holes along the left edges, foxing, partly faded and shine through of the ink - in nearly good condition.
