Document signed, one page, 8,5 x 11 inch, Klagenfurt, 11.09.1885, in German, the Emperor appoints Count Schönborn* Vice President of the House of Lords, the upper house of the Austrian Imperial Council, for the upcoming session, signed in dark ink "Franz Joseph", attractively mounted (removable) for fine display with a picture, shows Franz Joseph I of Austria in a half length pose in uniform (altogether 16,5 x 11,75 inch), with a horizontal mailing folds, mild creases, and browning - in fine condition.
„Lieber Graf Schönborn ! Ich ernenne Sie zum Vizepräsidenten desHerrenhauses d. Reichsrathes vom 5. l. M. [laufenden Monats] einberufenen Reichsrathes für die Dauer der nächsten Session desselben.
