Typed letter signed, one pages, 8 x 10 inch, `President of the Czechoslovak Republic` letterhead, (London), 9.02.1943, reply letter to Sir W. D. Ross (1877-1971, Scottish Aristotelian philosopher, translator, WWI veteran, civil servant, and university Administrator) - concerning an invitation, signed as President in blue ink "Dr E. Benes", with intersecting letter folds and perforated to the upper edge - in fine condition.
"My dear Vice-Chancellor,
Many thanks for your letter and your Kind invitation.
It will give me great pleasure to lunch with you on February 27th, as suggested, and I look forward very much to the occasion.
Yours sincerely, Dr.E. Benes"
