"For many years I have been fascinated by the world of handwriting.
To me each signature is a contemporary witness and tells its own story waiting to be discovered. When I take an autograph in my hand, I look closely at the paper texture, the pen strokes and the placement of the signature.
Often it is small details that decide authenticity and origin. Always compare several examples and document where an item comes from. My recommendation to you collectors is: learn the typical features of your favorite persons and take your time when examining items. Ask for provenance evidence and keep records of transfers well, because good documentation increases both trust and value. For me the most beautiful moments are the finds with a story.
Store your pieces with respect and give them a place where they can be seen and cared for. That way memories stay alive and your collection gains significance. If you want to deepen your collecting knowledge, listen to the podcast episode or write me your questions. Exchange makes us all more confident and sharpens the eye for genuine handwriting."
