Throughout his career, Williams received numerous awards and accolades, including two Pulitzer Prizes for Drama and a Tony Award for Best Play. He also wrote several screenplays and adaptations of his own work for film and television.
Williams struggled with mental health issues and addiction throughout his life, which affected his work and personal relationships.
