5 Briefe (drei eigenhändige Briefe und zwei maschinengeschriebene Briefe) mit eigenhändigen Unterschriften, insgesamt 6 1/2 Seiten, jeweils ca. 5,5 x 8 inch, persönlicher oder `Doubleday` Briefbogen, (New York), 1984-89, an den Mitbegründer des `Institute of American Indian Arts` Lloyd Kiva New oder seine Ehefrau Azalea Thorpe - u.a. ihre Reise*, indianische Poesie, Geschenke, und den Tod von Frau New, in blauer Tinte geschrieben und jeweils signiert "Jackie", mit einer zentralen horizontalen Brieffalte - in nahezu sehr gutem Zustand. Beiliegend: eine Glückwunschkarte mit eigenhändiger Unterschrift von Caroline Kennedy "Caroline," an Herrn New, dem sie für einen Topf dankt. 1 1/2 Seiten (mit Originalkuvert), New York, 9. 31. Juli 1984: "I was so happy to receive your letter telling me about the Sun Dance celebration. [...] I was very touched that you offered a flag for Maurice [Tempelsman], my family and me. I am sure it will bring us a great deal of good fortune."
