Maschinengeschriebener Brief mit eigenhändiger Unterschrift, eine Seite, 8,25 x 11 inch, `Indiana University` Briefbogen, Bloomington (Indiana), 7.12.1950, Antwortschreiben Dr. Amram Scheinfeld, dem Hermann Joseph Muller für ein Exemplar seines Buches dankt, signiert in dunkler Tinte "H. J. Muller", zur Ausstellung attraktiv montiert (herausnehmbar) mit einer Photographie, die Muller als Wissenschaftler zeigt (insgesamt 16,5 x 11,75 inch), mit zwei horizontalen Brieffalten und Stauchspuren an den Rändern - in gutem Zustand. "Let me say how delighted I was to receive the fine looking copy of your book yesterday. I much appreciate the inscription and the fact that you sent me the first copy. Of course, I have not as yet had time to more than glance through it but it is exceedingly attractive looking inside as well as out, and whatever I read hit the right spot in me. I do hope that it will have the big sale which I am sure it deserves and that it will go far towards filling the present crying need for a public better educated along these lines.
