However, it wasn't until their sixth album, "Highway to Hell," that AC/DC achieved international success.

Tragedy struck in 1980 when Bon Scott died due to alcohol poisoning. The band briefly considered disbanding, but ultimately decided to continue on with Brian Johnson as their new lead vocalist. AC/DC's first album with Johnson, "Back in Black," became one of the best-selling albums of all time.
