Description
Letter signed, one page, 7,5 x 9,5 inch, Berlin,1810, in German, to an engineer who asked to be returned to work - whereupon Friedrich Wilhelm III appointed him to the Brandenburg Artillery Brigade , signed in black ink “Scharnhorst", attractively mounted (removable) for display with a portrait picture of general Gerhard von Scharnhorst in uniform (altogether 16,5 x 11,75 inch), with toning, and mild foxing - in fine condition.
"Ew. Hochwohlgebohren benachrichtige ich hiermit ganz ergebenst, daß da Sie früher den Wunsch geäußert haben, in Thätigkeit versetzt zu werden, des Königs Majestät Sie bei der Brandenburgischen Artillerie-Brigade agregirt haben.
