"(...) Bear in mind that Armanspergs* does not do anything against my familiar attitudes. If I did not have you, dear Prince, I would be in a bad mood now, and how bad! (...)
Minister Count Armansperg should give me his application, what to hold on to. Thought Minister acts (?) in a way against me in this matter as Montgelas himself does not behave against my father (...)"
* The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Count Armansperg (1787-1853), who had inherited himself as finance minister the nickname `Spar(e)mansperg`, had taken over the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1828. As an opponent of Metternich he led an anti-Austrian and pro-French foreign policy. At the change of minister during the parliament of 1831, he lost his ministerial office, in 1832 he was appointed by the great powers as Chairman of the Regency Council for the minor King Otto of Greece and was 1835-37 Greek Chancellor.
