Document signed, one page - with red wax seal, 7,5 x 9 inch - inlaid into a slightly larger cardboard, `Armée D`Italie` (Army of Italy) letterhead, Nice, 10.02.1800, in French, partially printed document being an authorization for the citizen Jean Galle, signed by Louis-Gabriel Suchet in black ink "L. G. Suchet" - additionally signed and inscribed by an official, attractively mounted (removable) for fine display with a portrait picture of Louis-Gabriel Suchet (altogether 16,5 x 11,75 inch), with intersecting letter folds, wrinkling and foxing - in nearly fine condition.

Translated:
"According to the orders of General [...] authorizes for the citizen Jean Galle, Sergeant in the first auxiliary battalion of the department of the Var, to go to Toulon for family business and to stay there [...] "
