Louis Chiron Autograph

Typed letter signed, one page, 8.25 x 10.5, `Monte-Carlo Veteran Car Club` stationery, Monte Carlo, 30.03.1966. reply letter to "Monsieur S. Pozzoli" in Paris - concerning the participation in the celebration of the centenary of Monte Carlo, signed in blue ink "Louis Chiron", attractively mounted (removable) for fine display with a photograph, shows Louis Chiron as racing driver (altogether 16,5 x 11,75 inch), with very mild signs of wear - in nearly very fine condition.

In parts:
"[...] Vous me dites que vous serez a Cannes au printemps et en août, mais à quelle date ? de mon côté je pars à la montagne pour les fêtes et ensuite le 17 avril pour une dizaine de jours au Congrés de l`F.I.A à Beyrouth et inutile de vous dire qu`au mois d`août il sera trop tard car désire clore les engagements deux mois avant l`épreuve.
Ceci vous le comprendrez si je vous dis que je désire faire un programme avec la photo de la voiture du concurrent, son adresse et tous les renseignements techniques de la voiture. [...]
L`épreuve que nous organisons sera digne des deux autres épreuves que nous organisons qui sont le Rallye et le Gd Prix et comme il s`agit de fêter le Centenaire de la création de Monte-Carlo des fêtes supplémentaires compléteront ce Tour de la Principauté. [...]"

Translated:
"[...] You tell me you'll be in Cannes in the spring and August, but on what dates? I'm going to the mountains for the holidays and then on April 17th for about ten days to the FIA Congress in Beirut, and needless to say, it will be too late in August as I want to close entries two months before the event.
You'll understand this if I tell you that I want to create a program with a photo of each competitor's car, their address, and all the car's technical information.
