(1946-) American bassist and guitarist. He is best known for his work with the Byrds.
Handwritten lyrics signed, one page (pink sheet), 8,5 x 10,75 inch, `The Byrds` stationery, lyrics for The Byrds song `Fido`, written and signed in black ballpoint ink "John York", attractively mounted (removable) for fine display with a photograph, shows John York on stage (altogether 16,5 x 11,75 inch), with very mild signs of wear - in nearly very fine condition.
"Fido stayed all night, he would not go home. / I asked him to leave, I said `I do not have a bone`. / I was feelin` lonesome, sittin` by the phone. / Wide awake, stayin` up, late wishin` I was home. [...]"
