Description
Autograph letter signed, one page, 4,5 x 7,5 inch, (receipt note: 7.02.1795), in German, to Mr. Escher (probably Hans Caspar Escher vom Glas, 1769-1847) - concerning an impossible visit and a formal plan, written and signed in dark ink "Pestalozzi", attractively mounted (removable) for fine display with a picture of Johann Heinrich Pestalozzi (altogether 11,75 x 8,25 inch), with a few ink stains, and mild signs of wear - in fine condition.
In parts:
"[...] Es war mir unmöglich Sie noch einmal zu besuchen - über die bewußte Sache schreibe ich Ihnen noch einen förmlichen Plan. verzeihen Sie meine Freiheit [...]"
Translated:
"[...] It was impossible for me to visit you again - I'll write you a formal plan about the matter in question. forgive my freedom [...]"
In parts:
