Typed letter signed, one page, 7 x 5,75 inch, `University of Cambridge` letterhead, brief reply letter to an unnamed correspondent - concerning the Nobel Prize and an autograph request, signed in blue ink "James A. Mirrlees", attractively mounted (removable) for fine display with a photograph, shows James Mirrlees in a close-up portrait (altogether 8,25 x 11,75 inch), with very mild signs of wear - in nearly very fine condition.
