Signed vintage glossy photograph, shows Hermann Lang in a chest-up portrait wearing racing overalls with protective goggles around his neck, 4 x 5.75 inch, signed in blue ink "Hermann Lang", with scattered mild signs of wear - in fine to very fine condition. Provenance: from the Frank Bischoff Collection, Saxony; Bischoff collected motor-racing autographs from childhood (including at the Sachsenring, Solitude and other racing events).

Hermann Lang (1909-1987) was a German racing driver and Mercedes-Benz works driver. He was the dominant Grand Prix driver of the curtailed 1939 European season, although the AIACR did not award an official championship after the outbreak of war. Lang later shared victory at the 1952 24 Hours of Le Mans with Fritz Riess in a Mercedes-Benz 300 SL.
