Georgy Malenkov was born on January 8, 1902, in Orenburg, Russia. He was a Soviet politician who served as the Premier of the Soviet Union from 1953 to 1955. Malenkov joined the Bolshevik Party at a young age and quickly rose through the ranks of the Soviet government. He held various positions in the government, including head of the propaganda department, before eventually becoming Premier in 1953.

During his time as Premier, Malenkov focused on economic reform in the Soviet Union. He implemented various policies aimed at improving the country's industrial production and living standards for its citizens. However, his tenure was short-lived, as he was forced to resign in 1955 amid political infighting within the Communist Party.
