Typed letter signed, one page, 7 x 8 inch, `The White House - Washington` stationery, (Washington), 10.07.1939, reply letter to Assistant Attorney General - concerning his "your departure from the Claims Division of the Department of Justice and your appointment to the Court of Claims", signed (as President) in dark ink "Franklin D. Roosevelt", attractively mounted with a plaque and framed under glass for display (altogether 15 x 19,5 inch), with very mild signs of wear - in nearly very fine condition.
