Description
Autograph letter signed, one page (postcard of `Cäcilienhof`), 5,5 x 3,5 inch, in German, to an unidentified correspondent - thanking for greetings and writing about Holland, written and signed in blue ink "Cecilie", attractively mounted (removable) for fine display with a photograph, shows Duchess Cecilie of Mecklenburg-Schwerin in a beautiful chest-up portrait (altogether 8,25 x 11,75 inch), with very mild signs of wear - in nearly very fine condition. Accompanied by a vintage picture with facsimile signature (in a folder).

"Sehr herzlichen Dank für Ihre freundlichen Glückwünsche.
Hoff[e] sehr, dass die Regierung über das Volk kommt. Ich war 14 Tage in Holland bei meinem Mann und den Untertanen. Es war grosser Druck die 4 Jungens wiederzusehen! [...] Wir hoffen, dass die hölländische Regierung in absehbarer Zeit [...]"
