Autograph letter signed, two pages (on two conjoined sheets), 4,25 x 7 inch, Taverny, in French, to "Madame" - concerning a send volume, written and signed in dark ink "Camille Mauclair", with a central horizontal mailing fold, and very mild foxing - in fine to very fine condition.

Je suis parti pour un assez long voyage sans avoir eu le temps de lire le volume que vous avez bien voulu m`adresser. J`en avais remis la lecture, avec celle de plusieurs autres, à mon retour; c`est pourquoi / je ne vous en ai point accusé réception plus tôt. Je viens seulement de le lire, et quoique nos tendances soient fort dissemblables j`y ai pris beaucoup d`intérêt.
