Autograph letter signed, three pages (on two conjoined sheets), 4,5 x 7,25 inch, The Hague, 6.01.1864, in French, reply letter to Albertine of Ottingen - concerning family matters, written and signed in black ink "Sophie", attractively mounted (removable) for fine display with a portrait picture of Sophie of Württemberg (altogether 11,75 x 8,25 inch), with foxing, a tear and signs of wear along the interface of the conjoined sheets - in fine to good condition.

"Ma chère Albertine
Je vous remercie de votre bonne lettre de 25., des voeux que vous voulez bien former pour nous, et que je vous rends de toute mon coeur. J`espère que nous vous reverons, chère Albertine, avec votre mari, vos enfants..."
Translated:
"My dear Albertine
