"I think there is some confusion about what I said on the Gloria Hunniford Show a few weeks ago. I'm afraid I don't listen to tapes (even those of friends). I feel it is unfair to comment on the works of other musicians. What I did say was that I welcome manuscripts and poetry from young writers seeking publication of their work. (I am an Editor at Faber & Faber).
