Autograph letter signed, one page, 7,5 x 10,25 inch, `The Waldorf-Astoria` stationery, New York, 25.01.1958, in Italian, to Mrs. Giovanna Gorni in Foggia - Callas thanks for a "thought exceedingly exquisite that I have accepted with a grateful heart as a believing and fervent devotee" (translated), written and signed in blue ink "Maria Meneghini - Callas"*, attractively mounted (removable) for fine display with a photograph, shows Maria Callas in a beautiful close-up portrait (altogether 16,5 x 11,75 inch), with intersecting letter folds, and mild creases - in fine condition.
