Autograph letter signed, one page (postcard), 5,5 x 3,5 inch, Cambridge, 3.01.1963, in German, to Prof. Dr. E. Lamla in Göttingen - concerning a birthday greeting for Otto Hahn, written and signed in blue ballpoint ink "Lise Meitner", attractively mounted (removable) for fine display with a photograph, shows Lise Meitner in a laboratory (altogether 8,25 x 11,75 inch), with very mild signs of wear - in nearly very fine condition.
"Lieber Kollege Lamla,
Verzeihen Sie dass ich nur eine Karte schreibe, ich bin so im Druck mit meiner Correspondenz. Sicher will ich gern Hahn einen Geburtstagsgruss schreiben u. kann das wohl bis Ende dieses Monats tun, es kann nicht lang werden, weil ich es so oft getan habe.

"Dear colleague Lamla,
