B.), 2.09.1934, in German, to Mr. Adolf Leichtle - concerning an autograph request, signed in blue ink "Karl Maybach", attractively mounted (removable) for fine display with a photograph, shows the factory of Karl Maybach (altogether 8,25 x 11,75 inch), with a horizontal letter fold - in nearly very fine condition.
"Sehr geehrter Herr Leichtle!
Da ich blanko Unterschriften grundsätzlich nicht abgeben möchte, kann ich nur mit diesem Brief Ihrem Wunsche entsprechen. Da mein Vater Herr Wilhelm Maybach schon seit 1929 im 83 Lebensjahr verstorben ist, so kann ich Ihnen eine Unterschrift von ihm nicht zugehen lassen.
