Scarce document fragment signed, one page (cardboard) with official stamp, 9,75 x 4 inch, n.p., 1943, mostly in Cyrillic, printed: `Issued in Honour of UN International Conference in 1943 held in Teheran`, signed by Joseph Stalin as Chairman of the Council of the Municipal Union of the Soviet Union in ink & also signed by Andrey Vyshinsky* - inscribed by the collector in pencil, attractively mounted (removable) for fine display with a photograph, shows Stalin at the Yalta Conference - seated next to Franklin D. Roosevelt and Winston Churchill (altogether 11,75 x 16,5 inch), with browning and trimmed - in fine condition.
* Andrey Yanuaryevich Vyshinsky (1883-1954) was a Soviet politician, jurist and diplomat. He is best known as a state prosecutor of Joseph Stalin's Moscow Trials and in the Nuremberg trials. He was the Soviet Foreign Minister from 1949 to 1953, after having served as Deputy Foreign Minister under Vyacheslav Molotov since 1940. He also headed the Institute of State and Law in the Academy of Sciences of the Soviet Union.

Joseph Stalin was born on December 18, 1878, in Gori, Georgia, which was then part of the Russian Empire. His birth name was Ioseb Besarionis dze Jughashvili, but he later adopted the name Stalin, which means "man of steel" in Russian. He grew up in a poor family and faced many challenges during his youth.
Stalin's early life was marked by hardship and tragedy. His father was an alcoholic who abandoned the family when Stalin was young, leaving his mother to raise him and his siblings alone. He was a bright student, and in 1894, he won a scholarship to study at the Tiflis Theological Seminary. However, he was soon expelled for his revolutionary activities and joined the Bolsheviks, a radical socialist group.
Stalin quickly rose through the ranks of the Bolshevik Party and played a key role in the Russian Revolution of 1917. After the revolution, he became the leader of the Soviet Union and implemented a series of brutal policies that resulted in the deaths of millions of people. He ruled with an iron fist, using fear and intimidation to maintain his power.
Stalin's reign of terror continued until his death on March 5, 1953. His legacy is a complex and controversial one, with some viewing him as a hero who transformed the Soviet Union into a world superpower, while others see him as a ruthless dictator responsible for the deaths of millions of people.
Despite the mixed opinions about him, there is no denying that Joseph Stalin was a figure of immense historical significance whose actions continue to shape the world to this day.
