Typed letter signed, two pages, 5,75 x 7 inch, personal stationery, 27.01.1960, reply letter to `Dore dear` - inter alia concerning Jerry Wald and a film role in `Return to Payton Place`*, signed in blue ballpoint ink "Joan", with a central horizontal letter fold - in nearly very fine condition. Accompanied by a JSA Authentication.
In parts:
"... I keep reading that I am going to do `Return to Peyton Place`, but I haven`t heard anything definite about it from my agents or anyone else yet. Jerry Wald could change his mind a thousand times, you know..."
* `Return to Peyton Place` is a 1961 drama film in color by De Luxe and CinemaScope, produced by Jerry Wald, directed by José Ferrer, and starring Carol Lynley, Tuesday Weld, Jeff Chandler, Eleanor Parker, Mary Astor, and Robert Sterling. The role of the fictional character Constance MacKenzie was offered to Joan Crawford.
