Typed letter signed, one page, 7 x 9 inch, `The White House - Washington` stationery, (Washington D. C.), 1.02.1932, to Dr Abraham Jablons (NYC American Legion Post) - Hoover sends "cordial greetings in connection with the annual dinner" to the Disabled Veterans, signed (as President) in dark ink "Herbert Hoover", attractively mounted (removable) for display with a photograph, shows the 31st President of the United States in a half length portrait (altogether 16,5 x 11,75 inch), with a central horizontal letter fold, browning, two puncher holes to the upper edge, and a tear to the upper left corner (not affecting text) - in nearly fine condition.
"My dear Dr. Jablons:
Please convey to the Grand Street Boys and their guests, the Disabled Veterans of the World War of the metropolitan area of New York, my cordial greetings in connection with the annual dinner. The occasion reflects the gratitude which all citizens will feel for all time for their unselfish service to the country.
Yours faithfully, Herbert Hoover"
