Autograph letter signed, one page, 8 x 10,5 inch, (Paris), 14.11.1946, in French, to a female friend ('Chère Madame & ami') - Matisse sends his correspondent two invitations for a session, written and signed in blue ink "H. Matisse", attractively mounted (removable) for fine display with a photograph, shows Henri Matisse as painter (altogether 16,5 x 11,75 inch), with intersecting letter folds - in fine to very fine condition.

Voici les deux invitations - Vous y verrez que la séance sera très interessante. Je souhaite que vous puissiez remettre votre rendez-vous pour y assister. Merci encore pour la peine que vous avez prise en m'envoyant les adresses et vous prie d'agréer chère madame & ami, mes respectueuses hommages
