Autograph letter signed, two pages (both sides), 4,5 x 7 inch, 29.03.1908, in French, to Louis Lumet - concerning an article, written and signed in dark ink "Guillaume Apollinaire", attractively mounted (removable) for fine display with a photograph, shows Apollinaire seated in a chair (altogether 11,75 x 8,25 inch), with two horizontal letter folds, and very mild signs of wear to the edges - in fine to very fine condition.

"Mon cher ami écrivez moi un mot pour me dire quel jours vous venez libre et si la revue marche et le Rappel!!??
Dans votre article sur les Indépendants n`oubliez pas je vous prie de dire le plaisir que vous ne manquerez pas de trouver à regarder les tableaux de Mademoiselle Marie Laurencin. On les a placés entre ceux de Rouault et ceux de Vlaminck [...]"
