Autograph letter signed, three pages - on two conjoined sheets (both sides), 4,5 x 7 inch, 21.09.1900, in French, beautiful unpublished letter from Paris to his wife Julie Pissarro - inter alia concerning an exhibition and Paris at the time of the Mayors' Banquet, written and signed in black ink "C. Pissarro", with light intersecting letter folds and mild signs of age wear - in fine condition.

In parts:

Paris is unbearable, the boulevards in the afternoon are unapproachable, it feels like Carnival.
