Autograph letter signed, one page, 5,25 x 4 inch, Paris, 19.03.1853, in French, brief letter to `Monsieur Gouget` - concerning box seats for a premiere, written and signed in dark ink "Eugène Scribe", attractively mounted (removable) for fine display with a photograph, shows Eugène Scribe in a half length pose (altogether 8,25 x 11,75 inch), with a vertical letter fold and mild creasing & foxing - in fine condition.
