Letter signed, one page, 7 x 9 inch, Paris, 8.11.1796, in French, as a member of the executive board ("Membre du Directoire executif") - to the citizen Pigault from Montbeliard, who had provided him with newspapers from England, signed by Lazare Carnot in black ink "Carnot", attractively mounted (removable) for fine display with a portrait picture of Lazare Carnot (altogether 16,5 x 11,75 inch), with intersecting letter folds, mild soiling, and glue remnants along the left edge - in fine condition.
