Description
Autograph letter signed, four pages - folded double-page, 3,5 x 4,5 inch - affixed with tape on slightly larger cardboard, `Russel Square` (London), "Oct. 9th." (no year), to an unnamed gentleman - the letter pertains to business matters and mentions his current work commitments and plans, which is consistent with his role as a painter frequently employed by nobility and government officials, written and signed in black ink "Thomas Lawrence" - also inscribed by a former collector in pencil (upper edge of the fourth page), attractively mounted (removable) for fine display with a portrait picture of Sir Thomas Lawrence (altogether 11,75 x 8,25 inch), with two horizontal letter folds, a few mild stains, and mild browning - in fine condition.
In parts:
"My dear Sir
