Document signed, 5 1/2 pages (and 3 blank pages) - with royal paper seal and sewn with black ribbon, 7,75 x 12,25 inch, (London), 3.01.1825, addressed to John Scott, 1st Earl of Eldon, Lord Chancellor - being a warrant for affixing the Great Seal to Mr. Morier`s and Mr. Ward`s full powers to negotiate commercial matters with the United Mexican States*, signed (at head) in black ink "George R." - countersigned by George Canning at foot, with three mild horizontal mailing folds, and browning - in fine condition.

* Diplomats James Morier (1782-1849) and Sir Henry Ward George (1797-1860) negotiated the first British-Mexican Treaty of Amity, Commerce and Navigation, which was signed on April 6, 1825.
