Description
Autograph letter signed (with his initials), one page, 4,5 x 4 inch, `Denmark Hill, S.` stationery, "Monday" (no year), brief letter to "Mr. Simon" - concerning a meeting, written and signed in dark ink "JR", attractively mounted (removable) with a photograph, shows John Ruskin seated in a chair (altogether 8,25 x 11,75 inch), with mild signs of wear to the edges - in fine to very fine condition.
In parts:
"Dear Mr. Simon
I can`t let Sona come to [illegible], please forgive me - but I`m afraid of her catching cold and I must keep her well [...]"
