Autograph letter signed, one page, 5,25 x 8,25 inch, in French, recommendation for an unnamed correspondent, written and signed in black ink "F. Liszt", attractively mounted (removable) for fine display with a photograph, shows Franz Liszt as pianist (altogether 12,25 x 9,5 inch), with intersecting letter folds, and mild browning - in fine to very fine condition.

Translated:
"I generally and particularly recommend [illegible] former administrator of the Royal Academy of Music in Paris to my friends in Berlin.
